I will say this place is beautiful, landscaping is as well. The inside is clean and orderly. The woundcare, occupational therapy and the physical therapist are five out of five stars. They are wonderful. Where it gets such a low rating from me is the nurses and nurse aides. They are absolutely horrible! My step-father has been in there for short term recovery and there isn't a day that goes by that there isn't some type of issue caused by the blatant incompetence from the nursing staff. Everything from my dad having sores from sitting on his own feces all day, to him hurting so bad he's throwing up because his pain meds weren't given to him all day because "they were out". How can a rehab facility like this be "out" of pain meds first and second WHY WOULDN'T YOU LET THE PATIENT AND THE FAMILY KNOW THIS!!?? He was also given a rag and one cup of water to "bathe himself"???!!! It's disgusting how the nurses treat these patients and I'm taking names and reporting them to the board.
