Initially, I was very pleased with the facility, but then there were many staffing changes. My husband has Alzheimer’s and was in the memory care section of the facility. He lost the ability to feed himself and the staff would not assist. I was actively looking for placement elsewhere and was assured that he would be fed until I could find another facility. The staff did not feed him and instead neglected him. I made a surprise visit and found the staff placing my husband in his room, alone and without food, because he kept getting out of his chair. The facility has no real knowledge of Alzheimer’s and the needs of the residents.
