What families are saying

The reviews for Ivy Park at Burbank and The Heights in Burbank highlight a mix of positive and negative experiences. Ivy Park is praised for its caring and loving care staff, spacious rooms, and engaging activities, particularly for memory care residents. The new community director is seen as proactive in addressing past issues, such as high staff turnover and lack of routine. However, some concerns remain about the carb-heavy food and insufficient attention to individual dietary needs. The Heights is appreciated for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and hotel-like atmosphere. It offers a variety of activities and dining options, though some find its location inconvenient. The staff is generally described as attentive and helpful, with specific praise for individuals like Nurse Olivia and receptionist Vanita. However, there are concerns about the high cost and limited resident input on food choices. Vintage Burbank receives mixed reviews. While the facility is described as upscale with a warm atmosphere and attentive staff, there are significant concerns about the quality of care in the dementia unit, particularly regarding staff responsiveness and food quality. Some residents feel neglected, with important items like glasses and dentures being lost. The dining experience is criticized for being budget-oriented, especially for memory care residents. Overall, these facilities offer a range of amenities and care levels, with varying degrees of satisfaction among residents and their families. The importance of location, staff attentiveness, and food quality are recurring themes in the reviews.

It's a beautiful place. And they have fun recreational activities. But back when it was the Heights the caregiver seems to be more knowledgeable. Now they're starting to lose staff and instead of getting two caregivers that you payed for they're on this ending getting one. I hope they get their act together soon. Or they're going to have people start to leave.
