Best place in town for assisted living. The staff at AMH are just wonderful. They are very friendly, attentive, patient, loving and caring in their support of the residents and treat them as one of the family. During the COVID lockdown, when I could not visit my mother, the staff facilitated video visits, window visits, and shared pictures, cards and letters to ensure we did not lose touch and feel isolated. Anytime I have had an issue with something, they were very receptive and quickly corrected the problem. I feel the staff goes the extra mile to communicate with families on the care of their loved one. I highly recommend AMH!

When my mother first moved there in 2018, it was a clean, happy place with weekly activities. There was a consistent, friendly staff and it felt like a good place for mom to be. Not so much any more. There are so many staff changes that it is impossible to keep up. Some of the changes in the quality of living I have seen may be due to understaffing now, but it isn’t like it was. I had just come back from vacation, I went to my mother’s apartment and the toilet was filthy! It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month! For the amount of money she pays this was unacceptable! How can the current manager be “unaware” that the toilet was that filthy? Aren’t there regular cleaning schedules in place? Unfortunately in our small community there aren’t a lot of choices.

I'm not big at leaving reviews but the Addie Meedom House deserves some love! I want to thank them for the care they have provided to my grandmother and all their residents. They treat all the residents like family. Recently my grandmother had to go to the hospital. They fought for my grandmother to return home with them on end of life care rather than have her go to a nursing home. She has made a complete turn around from the love and care they were able to give her. She is so happy there and it shows. As for the facility, it's very nice and warming. The dining room is nice and spacious. The memory care dining room was recently redone and it's very nice. The facility itself is very clean. The staff is wonderful. They are always nice and willing to help. They really care for all their residents and it shows. I would definitely recommend the Addie Meedom house.
