Our mom moved here from an independent living apartment in Gainesville to be closer to me. We loved visiting her, staff were always friendly. Mom enjoyed her stay here. When her dementia worsened, she moved into the Memory Care unit and received excellent care. No place is ever going to be perfect and staffing shortages are everywhere in this industry, but we always felt she was cared for with love and dignity. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I would highly recommend you look here. Mom passed last month and I miss her terribly but I also miss going to visit with her Canterfield family. Couldn't have found a better place for her to live.
