So many things wrong with this facility. Maybe all are the same but I hope not. My mom is meant to have night checks however, on 2 occasions, that we are aware of, when this did not happen, my mother fell and spent the rest of the night on the floor in her own urine. (she does not wear the emergency button when sleeping) The list is endless. But the food! They use Sisco/Costco type of frozen/reheated food, all the time. It is substandard and most times inedible. Soup is always hot but rarely is the food. TV, internet and phone (& elevators) are frequently inoperable for days/weeks at a time. I have no way to get in touch with my mother unless I leave work and drive to see her. At the moment I see her every evening. These people are only interested in a money grab. The residents are NOT priority. I know of others who have left this facility for other places. I will be moving my mother out of Discovery Village. I cannot fathom why this place doesn't have more reviews.
