I was admitted to Twin Creeks on Hospice with acute liver failure and given 2-3 months to live. I spoke to Patient Care Director H. about searching for 2nd opinion, she STRONGLY disagreed with me opting out of Hospice because my pharmaceuticals would be more expensive……Life Path Chapters Hospice encouraged the same and both were content with me dying on Hospice. I recently discovered my records from Lifepath and found records of documents signed by all parties including Facility Director V.K. agreeing that opting out would be of no benefit. Nearly two years later, I-got a 2nd opinion at Tampa General Hospital, got listed as a Liver Transplant candidate and saved my life. Facility is worse run ALF in Tampa area. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS FACILITY IF YOU HAVE A LOVED ONE.
