My Mom moved into Memory Care at HarborChase of Sarasota in June of 2022. I cannot say enough good things about the community, the nursing staff and the aides and all the other staff members. She has dementia and was at 2 other facilities before I found HarborChase. From the first visit with June Plumb, I knew this was the best choice for my Mom. They care, they involve her in activities - going out of their way to help her participate. She can get very angry as part of her dementia and they understand her and never mind her outbursts. They deflect her anger and her hygiene is superb. June became the Memory Care Director after my Mom was there a few months and she really watches over the residents and staff. The executive staff is outstanding, too. Melanie, the nurse, is so amazing and seeing her compassion makes me so comfortable on any days I cannot get by to visit.
