The reviews for Magnolia Senior Living in Sun City Center, Florida, are overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the facility's caring staff, clean environment, and personalized care. Many reviewers express gratitude for the attentive and compassionate staff, mentioning specific employees like Sherell, Ka, Bernadette, and Antonia, who go above and beyond in their roles. The facility is described as small, family-owned, and operated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes residents feel at home. The food is praised for being above restaurant quality, and the activities, although limited due to the facility's size, are well-executed. Several reviewers note significant improvements in their loved ones' mental and physical well-being after moving to Magnolia. However, there are a few negative reviews. One criticizes the lack of staff training in memory care, citing incidents of head trauma from falls. Another mentions high costs and inadequate staffing, while a third describes poor hygiene and medication management in the memory care unit. Despite these concerns, the majority of reviews recommend Magnolia for its excellent care and supportive community. In contrast, reviews for Pacifica Sun City Senior Living are mixed. Some praise the facility for its bright, clean environment and dedicated staff, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Others, however, report negative experiences, particularly in the memory care unit, citing issues with hygiene, medication management, and staff behavior. Overall, while Magnolia receives high praise for its personalized care and community feel, Pacifica's reviews are more varied, with both positive and negative experiences shared.

I'm unable to delete my previous review, so here are my latest thoughts. My mom's dementia has progressed to the point that she's requiring more intimate personal care. Being embarassed, that is a very uncomfortable situation for her having this very personal attention. She has resisted and become combative resulting in the staff refusing to work with her and management requesting her departure.

Magnolia was absolutely the best choice when selecting an assisted living facility for my mom. The facilities are lovely with spacious common areas for the residents to enjoy outside of their private accommodations, including a screened porch and an interior courtyard. It is small, family owned and operated with the wonderful owners onsite, pleasantly available to assist with any needs or concerns. Their carefully selected staff is amazing with the care they give the residents. Mom has lived there happily for two years. She tells me that the staff takes good care of her. From what I know during my frequent visits… she’s in very good, capable and loving hands at Magnolia Senior Living. I am very thankful
