Residents and their families appreciate the engaging activities, compassionate staff, and the overall positive atmosphere. However, some reviews highlight significant concerns, including safety issues, poor communication, and inadequate staff training. There are mentions of patients escaping and alarms being ignored, leading to distress among residents and families. Some reviewers suggest management changes and express dissatisfaction with the administration. In contrast, reviews for DTN apartments are predominantly negative. Complaints focus on misleading information regarding rent and additional fees, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior from the leasing office. Renters report issues with maintenance, such as unsealed doors and missing window screens. There are also grievances about the handling of security deposits, with delays and lack of communication being common themes. Some reviewers accuse DTN of preying on students and describe their experiences as scams. Nice building, but pricing is outrageous. I originally had a love one move into Memory Care in May 2023 at a contracted monthly unit rate of $9,300/month. But then, every 6 months, the price increased based on their “service care levels” which are NOT included in monthly unit rate. By April 2023, the cost had increased to $16,100/month! That’s over $193k per year!! Anyone thinking of moving a loved one into their Memory Care units needs to be aware of these “service care level” costs that they’ll start charging.

False advertising!!! Beautiful building but that is all!!!! Not a true memory unit and poor staff! There is not 24/7 nursing as advertised and cannot age your loved one in place. Corporate is cold!!! They want your money and that’s all!!! Be aware!!!
