The reviews for CareOne of Sharon present a mixed picture, highlighting both positive experiences and significant concerns. Many families praise the facility for its friendly and caring staff, clean and modern environment, and engaging activities that keep residents active and involved. The food is often described as delicious, and the facility hosts enjoyable family events. Some reviewers specifically commend the administration and staff for their warmth and responsiveness, making transitions smooth for new residents. However, there are notable criticisms, particularly regarding staff turnover and understaffing, which some feel lead to inconsistent care. Concerns are raised about the quality of care, especially in memory care units, where language barriers and inadequate training are mentioned. Some families report preventable falls and lapses in care, such as missed medication reminders and insufficient personal care. Activities are sometimes described as repetitive and uninspired, failing to engage residents fully. Management is generally open to feedback, but improvements are often temporary, with issues resurfacing. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the facility's ability to handle complex medical needs, suggesting that a skilled nursing facility might be more appropriate for certain residents. The cost of care is also a concern for some, who feel it does not match the quality of services provided. Overall, while CareOne of Sharon has potential and offers a pleasant environment, it struggles with consistency in care, making it more suitable for families who can actively oversee and advocate for their loved ones.

My parent has been here 4+ years, and while there are positives it’s not what it was. There are some genuinely caring & exceptional staff, but high turnover among aides & administrators is a consistent challenge. This is hard for my parent, who has dementia & thrives on familiarity. While many aides try their best, tasks like medication reminders, personal care, food reminders, housekeeping, & walking assistance are sometimes overlooked, resulting in gaps in care plans, and my parent has also had preventable falls, raising concerns about oversight & care quality. Activities are repetitive, uninspired, and fail to keep residents active & engaged. The facility itself is clean, modern & appealing. The food tastes good but lacks variety & healthier options. Management is open to feedback, and care improves temporarily after discussions, but issues often resurface. In summary, it has potential but struggles with consistency. It may work for families who regularly oversee and advocate.
