The reviews for The Province of Southampton present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its welcoming, homey atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The activities and amenities, such as a theater room, gym, and dining options, are frequently highlighted as positive aspects. Several staff members, including the Executive Director Crystal and Activities Director Mike, receive commendations for their hands-on approach and dedication to resident care. The food is often described as delicious, and the facility is noted for its bright and well-maintained environment. However, there are significant criticisms as well. Some reviews mention issues with understaffing, slow response times, and high staff turnover. Concerns about management, particularly regarding professionalism and care for residents, are raised, with some reviewers describing the facility as unorganized and focused more on profit than resident well-being. Specific incidents, such as a resident leaving unnoticed and a lack of staff during emergencies, are cited as alarming. Additionally, there are mentions of legal issues involving former management, which have contributed to a negative perception. Overall, while many find The Province of Southampton to be a positive environment with caring staff and good amenities, others express serious concerns about management practices and resident safety.

From the moment we met this team I felt we were in safe hands. This was one of the hardest decisions we have had to make but the Landing always made us feel like we were doing the right thing and never added any pressure to the process. My aunt raves about the food, activity programs, and care she receives and we couldn't be happier. My family finds comfort in knowing she is in good hands during such uncertain times.
