My family and I have no complaints about Sumter Terrace. Our experience has shown this facility to be just the right move for a senior couple who were used to being mostly independent. Now they are enjoying having their meals prepared and medication managed for them. The staff is courteous and respectful to residents and has helped with transportation to appointments since the family doesn't live nearby.

When it was Brookdale I would give it a 5 star rating but it has recently went down hill after it changed hands to Sumter Terrace… the price is still the same but the quality of care has immensely declined .. the staff is not friendly or very attentive to the residents. The services that were offered when it was Brookdale are not the same service that are available now as Sumter Terrace but yet they charge the same price . I would not recommend putting loved one in this facility.
