My parents lived in The Viera for approximately 2.5 years, independent living and then assisted living. The overall experience and caregiving when needed were good and the physical facility was exceptional. Admin, communication, and financial disclosing was less than desirable. Both of my parents passed at The Viera and in both areas, Independent and Assisted, I felt they were taken advantage of financially. As Executor for them, I fought for fairness but was ignored by Admin, so Ultimately got a third party involved and finally received their deserved refund after 4 months. This was not the way to close their final chapter so unfortunately I cannot completely recommend The Viera as a wonderful place to reside and entrust. Their ultimate concern is financial gain rather than tenant concerns/caregiving, in my opinion.
