Facility and staff are awesome. We were shown the facility by Shannon. She was extraordinary! She was professional and very accommodating. We intend to move our sister in law in as soon as we can organize it. John

This facility is beautiful. I loved it from the minute I walked in. I was so looking forward to my grandmother moving in and living her best life after months of being in and out of the hospital and all the trauma she's endured from being poked a million times as well as being mistreated/disregarded by hospital staff because she is elderly. The way Anthology conducted business with my family was VERY disappointing and I truly was not expecting this after being told during my tour that it's important for them to get the FULL BACKGROUND of their incoming residents so that they can best understand and meet their needs. Why was this treatment not given to my grandmother??? You denied her based off of hospital notes about her agitation/behavior WITHOUT truly understanding WHY this is occurring, despite it being explained to you in full-detail. My grandmother was looking forward to her assessment with Anthology staff, even put on her pearls and was ready to go, but you just canceled at the LAST MINUTE. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! Next time, instead of writing someone off because of what someone else said about them who doesn't even know how to interact with dementia patients, how about you actually take the time to fully understand all that they have been through, ask yourself WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM that could've triggered certain behaviors/feelings instead of only seeing the WRONG in their behaviors. Oh, and MEET THEM FIRST instead of PREJUDGING and denying them! If you would have done that, you would have seen for yourselves how sweet she is, that she has just endured a lot of trauma within these past few months, and needs to be around people that will understand and are trustworthy. She isn't some violent little old lady! Please do better!!
