Located in Stanley, North Carolina, Stanley Total Living Center (STLC) is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that provides independent and assisted living options along with a skilled nursing home. We are designed to accommodate the changing needs of our residents.
Licensed by the North Carolina Department of Insurance, STLC provides health care for the elderly ranging from Independent living options through full-scale nursing care. We are supported by local churches and the Town of Stanley and are a non-profit committed to A Ministry of Compassion that provides the highest level of care possible to our residents’ medical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

We work hard to meet the needs of our residents. From the housekeeper who dusts family pictures to the nursing assistant who has a friendly “Hello” and a smile, we remember the little things that matter.STLC residents choose from a variety of activities to keep them as active as they care to be. There is time to get together with old friends and meet new ones, relax with a book, enjoy an outing, or work on a craft project. In addition, our skilled professional nurses, therapists, dietitians, social service directors and nursing assistants are specially trained to meet needs around the clockWe welcome individuals and groups to visit and take part in activities with our residents. Volunteers are an important part of our community.
