The mission of the Heirloom Inn is to provide quality health care while actively encouraging the philosophy of aging in place. Aging in place is the process in which a person experiencing physical or mental decline decides to remain in the living environment of their own choosing. To provide for the smooth transition of aging in place, the Heirloom Inn adds needed services, increasing or adjusting to compensate for the physical or mental decline of the individual resident. Heirloom Inn offers an array of coordinated supportive personal and health care services, available 24 hours a day to residents who have been assessed as needing such services. Heirloom Inn promotes resident self direction and participation in decisions that emphasize choice, dignity, privacy, individuality, and independence - delivered in a non-institutionalized setting.
