Heritage Health Mt. Zion is a charming senior living community nestled in the beautiful woodlands of Macon County. We are a sister community to Evergreen Senior Living in Decatur and are located fifteen minutes south of Decatur. Our senior campus is close to St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur Memorial, and Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Our onsite transportation options make doctor’s appointments and outings around town incredibly convenient.
At Heritage Mt. Zion, we’ve got your senior care needs covered. As a Medicare and Medicaid certified nursing home, we offer full-time skilled nursing and hospice care. The RESTORE Therapy program at Mt. Zion provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies to our residents. Our seniors also benefit from IV and total parenteral nutrition (TPN), wound care, and tracheotomy services as needed. Electrical and vital stimulation are also available. Our highly-skilled nursing care team provides 24/7 assistance to seniors with medical conditions as well as special dietary services. We partner with dentists, podiatrist, ophthalmologists, and audiologist, who provide onsite visits to keep our senior healthy.
Caregivers need assistance from time to time, as well. Those providing in-home care may benefit from our short-term respite services. If you need to be away, or you need a breather, we’re happy to welcome your loved one to our campus. We also offer memory support groups to caregivers seeking encouragement.
