Be AWARE - VERY AWARE - staffing is limited as many institutions have experienced since COVID. Too, bathrooms are NOT ADA compliant AND some leak and look like like they were built in the 1950’s. NO showers in the bathrooms. This is more a nursing home than a Rehabilitation center for people needing comprehensive PT/OT services. Nutrition service is lacking in providing fresh fruit and vegetables. Often meals were monochromatic - looking like brown/beige with oatmeal soup soup and rubberized eggs (yes they bounce)! Often workers could not communicate patient needs due to ESL (English as a Second Language). We are not opposed to ANY ESL population - but language education skills of staff is warranted by the company! Please note that linen and floor washing/waxing were exceptional. Now overall cleanliness requires constant reminding of staff such as bathrooms. Also note almost all rooms have (3) clients - tight space. TV’s have NO access to ear buds/earphones. Three TV’s - imagine with a hearing impaired population. Drawers are broken. Light fixtures in closets have been dismantled with loose wires hanging from ceiling. I could go on. This is a PRIVATE company and should be ashamed that they are taking a profit when their clients are not getting the facility updates that are required!
