No one wants a loved one to leave home. I had made the decision to place mom for rehab, things turned for the worst and she ended up passing away, due to her cancer. I just want to take a moment to let everyone know how wonderful this place can be, depending on the staff. Elm is mainly for rehab and even though my mom was in her way out they allowed her to stay on that unit. In the morning the aide Amber is beyond amazing. She makes you feel at home, she’s very friendly and smiley.she motivates you. She talks to you like your own loved one. Ruby is also a good one! Shes sweet and quiet. As for the other shifts, they would leave mom yelling out for help so they can get their assignments done….before dinner. If the morning girls could always be there I’d have no complaints. Thank you all for everything.
