Marian Estates' story began in the peaceful setting of Sublimity when Father Scherbring of St. Boniface created a home for the elderly and ill population. Throughout the coming years the community grew slowly, until the 1970s when the Sisters of Servite sold the Marian Home to Maurice Reece. Maurice thought so highly of the care provided to his step-father and the community's mission that in 1975 he purchased the property and immersed himself in the long-term care industry with a commitment to excellence in providing compassionate, personalized healthcare.
