We worked primarily with Valerie, who was exceptional. However, in her absence, Ramona stepped right in and continued to provide specific and professional thoughts and guidance on this all important experience in our lives. Valerie worked with us over several years, as our circumstances changed. She was always supportive and comforting. She is an excellent listener, working hard to ensure she learns what's important to the family and finding options that meet these needs. We are extremely happy with what will be Mom's new home - it's a good location to other family members, beautiful property with tenured staff and competitive rates. Thank you both!

Valerie helped us navigate the process to find the right fit for our dad. She guided us from start to finish and helped make a tough situation much less stressful if we had done everything on our own! Kudos to these ladies!

Ramona was wonderful in assisting my friend finding a great assisted living place. She even visited her while in Rehab. Came to the facility on her 1st visit. Would highly recommend her to anyone assisting with placement.

What we think about Ramona

Ramona and her team very much enjoy working with seniors and their families - and it's obvious in their communication and constant follow up and outreach. They're all so supportive to each family they meet.

About Ramona

Ramona has a background in accounting and she first earned her degree in 1993 from the University of South Carolina. However in 2016 she and her husband decided to start a business. She did a complete career change and has been working with seniors and their families since 2016. She is very passionate about being an advocate for the families she works with. She is a Certified Senior Advisor and also Dementia Care Certified. She currently hosts a support group for spouses that have a loved one with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Valerie has been working with seniors and their families for about three years. She has an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a master's in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University. She worked for five years in public mental health with children before taking a break to be with her family. Her passion is connecting people to resources that will really help them in their unique situation. She has co-hosted a support group for caregivers that are caring for a loved one with dementia. She is Dementia Care Certified. Renee has a widely varied career in social work, public relations and business. She currently works as an Eldercare Advisor with Assisted Living Locators - an agency, which services both you and your loved ones with suitable options for independent residence, assisted living, as well as memory care. Previously, she worked as an independent Geriatric/Complex Needs Care Manager. A care manager plans and coordinates care of the elderly and others with physical and/or mental impairments to meet their long-term care needs. Ms. Gibson worked closely with the client and family to navigate the journey of declining mental and physical health, particularly with dementia diagnoses. Valerie, Ramona and Renee work hard to find the best senior living options for their clients that need Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care. Their favorite moment is when their clients find just the right home that meet all of their needs.
