Karen Mitchell began her career in non-clinical healthcare management in West Texas. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas Permian Basin, she spent 25+ years in leadership roles for hospitals, rehab centers, and physician practices. For the next 2 years, Karen was a healthcare revenue cycle consultant and then spent 7 years as a Vice President in client relations. Prior to starting her Assisted Living Locators business, she served as the Business Director for a retirement community with independent living, assisted living, and memory care accommodations. This last role was the catalyst for her desire to work with seniors and their families to assist them in finding the right fit in retirement living. She is adept at gathering all the necessary information, focusing carefully on her clients’ needs and lifestyle, and following up to ensure that every detail is resolved to their satisfaction. She and her husband, Kenny, live in Fort Worth, Texas and enjoy the company of their twin grandsons and serving their community.
