The Terraces at Via Verde is a memory care community that receives mixed reviews. Many visitors and family members praise the facility for its beautiful, clean, and modern environment, as well as its attentive and compassionate staff. The staff, including individuals like Oscar, Robert, and Liz, are frequently highlighted for their dedication and expertise in dementia care. Activities led by Elizabeth are noted for engaging residents and improving their well-being, with some families observing significant positive changes in their loved ones' conditions. However, some reviews mention concerns about the facility being outdated and understaffed, with a few noting high staff turnover. The layout, particularly the separation between floors, is seen as inconvenient, potentially limiting resident interaction. There are also criticisms about the food quality and the cost of care, with some feeling it does not match the service provided. One review mentions a negative experience with the director, describing interactions as disingenuous. Overall, while many families express satisfaction and relief at the care their loved ones receive, others have reservations about certain aspects of the facility. The Terraces is recommended by many for its supportive community and specialized dementia care, but potential residents and families are advised to consider both the positive and negative feedback when making a decision.

My brother Tom was a resident at the The Terraces at Via Verde from May 2024 to August 2024. The care my brother Tom- who had a rapidly progressing case of Alzheimer's - received at The Terraces was excellent in every way. The executive director, Mr. Robert Jakini and his staff were very attentive, helpful and compassionate. Mr. Jakini has managed to assemble an energetic and compassionate team of professionals who deliver top notch medical care, food and social services. Knowing that we would not leave my brother in his final hours, Mr. Jakini directed his staff to feed all six us breakfast, lunch and dinner while we stayed with my brother Tom during this most difficult time. Thank you Mr. Jakini and staff for all that you did for Tom! You made a difference! Sincerely, Joseph B. Herzog, DDS

Moving to The Terraces was the best decision I could ever make for my dad with his Alzheimer's disease. The staff are kind, empathetic, caring, attentive, responsive, helpful, thoughtful, actively involved daily with the residence, supportive, and innovative in their approach to daily activities and living with memory care issues. Elizabeth runs their daily activities and she has gotten my dad from gazing mindlessly in a chair all day, to dancing, tapping his fingers and feet while listening to music, he's now participating in table-top activities, he's engaged, alive, and has made a complete 180 degree positive change in alllllll his behavior and interactions. Their targeted programs really bring out the best in each resident, and it brings great comfort to the families knowing that they are truly in a hands of individuals who are experts in dealing with memory care issues. The doctor was going to increase my dad's medication because of behavioral issues at his prior memory care comm
