Sunrise of Highland Park receives generally positive reviews for its compassionate and attentive staff, who are praised for their dedication and personal care. Many residents and their families appreciate the warm, home-like atmosphere and the sense of community fostered by the staff. The facility offers a range of care levels, including assisted living and memory care, and is noted for its cleanliness and well-maintained environment. The food receives mixed reviews, with some finding it repetitive but others appreciating the variety and quality. The location is considered convenient, being close to downtown Highland Park, which allows for easy access to shops and restaurants. The facility is described as smaller and more intimate, which some find appealing, though others feel it limits activities and space. The building is older, and while it is clean and well-kept, some areas show signs of wear. Sunrise is noted for its long-term staff, which suggests a stable and happy work environment. The facility is also dog-friendly, allowing both residents and staff to bring pets. However, some reviews mention the high cost relative to the amenities offered, and a few express concerns about the size of the rooms and the limited activities for more active residents. Overall, Sunrise of Highland Park is highly recommended for its caring staff and community atmosphere, though potential residents should consider the cost and specific needs when evaluating if it is the right fit.

Their nurses are good but they always have 1nurse taking care of two floors and care manager are not doing a good job because they always short of staff every week and they are not patient enough to care for the residents, also the food is not good most of the time. I’m typing this review from my 4 years experience as a 24 hours private caregiver for a client in this facility in highland park.
