Waterstone of Lexington receives predominantly positive reviews, praised for its beautiful facilities, engaging activities, and exceptional staff. Residents and their families appreciate the warm, welcoming environment and the high-quality amenities, including delicious food, varied activities, and luxurious accommodations. Many reviewers highlight the supportive and attentive staff, noting their dedication to resident care and community spirit. The community is described as vibrant and social, with residents forming close friendships and enjoying a range of activities. However, some reviews point out areas for improvement. A few reviewers mention the high cost of living at Waterstone, emphasizing the need for financial means or a good long-term care policy. Concerns are also raised about the facility's limited care options, particularly for residents requiring more than a single-person assist, which may necessitate hiring private aides or relocating if care needs increase. Waterstone at Wellesley, another location, receives mixed feedback. While the facilities are described as excellent, some reviewers find the environment less engaging and the staff not as impressive compared to other communities. The urban setting and lack of greenery are noted as drawbacks by some visitors. Additionally, the separation of independent and assisted living areas is seen as a disadvantage for those who wish to maintain social connections across different levels of care. Overall, Waterstone of Lexington is highly recommended for its luxurious setting and community atmosphere, though potential residents should consider the financial and care limitations.

A friend of mine lives at Waterstone of Lexington, and recently found out she has a terminal illness. The staff and management team have been amazing - kind, supportive and have helped her plan and organize her next steps into another community that offers a higher level of care - definitely above and beyond expectations. For anyone considering this community, I would offer my highest recommendation. Not only is it a beautiful place and very close to downtown and route 2, it's got a great team of people who truly care. A huge thank you to the entire team at Waterstone - you do a great job!
