San Francisco – Seniorly, the premier technology-enabled senior living marketplace, today announced the 33 6best senior living facilities in the nation as part of their annual Best of Senior Living Awards 2026.
The winners were chosen out of Seniorly’s network of 60,000 facilities across the country. The best facilities were chosen in each of these five regions – West, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest – for having exemplary quality of senior care, resident and family engagement, and innovative programming.
For the second year Seniorly has partnered with Skypoint, a leading generative data company, to mine hundreds of thousands thousands of consumer and family reviews of senior living facilities to develop sentiment ratings across 6 categories of resident experience. These included cleanliness, dining services, staff ratings, value, care services and overall resident satisfaction.
Seniorly then analyzed the top rated communities and reviewed state licensing data and news alerts to ensure that only communities with a strong history of demonstrated quality made our list. Unlike many other annual awards issued for senior living, Seniorly's Best of Senior Living award is unique in that it also includes smaller senior living communities, often called “board-and-care” homes. These communities are vital to our senior living infrastructure and often provide high-quality care at exceptional value.
""We're thrilled to recognize the exceptional work of this year's Seniorly Best of Senior Living Award winners" said Arthur Bretschneider, CEO of Seniorly. “By honoring these outstanding communities, we hope to broadcast the positive impact that the right living community can have on the aging experience, including physical health indicators, cognitive health, social engagement, and overall well-being and happiness.”
To qualify for the Awards, communities must be in the top five percent of our consumer sentiment ratings, be free of serious licensing violations for the last 36 months and have no evidence of negative media coverage for the last 24 months.
