The reviews for Village Park Alpharetta Senior Living present a mixed picture. On the positive side, many reviewers praise the facility's physical appearance, describing it as beautiful and well-maintained. Some residents and their families have had positive experiences, highlighting the caring staff, vibrant community, and a variety of activities. The new executive director and management changes have been noted for bringing improvements, particularly in staffing and resident care. Several reviewers appreciate the personal touch and dedication of specific staff members, such as Nina and Barb, who are commended for their professionalism and responsiveness. However, there are significant concerns raised by other reviewers. High staff turnover and understaffing are recurring issues, leading to inadequate care, especially for those needing more assistance. Complaints about poor management, billing inaccuracies, and declining food quality are common. Some families report severe dissatisfaction with the level of care, citing instances of neglect and lack of communication. The facility's ability to handle assisted living needs is questioned, with some suggesting it is more suited for independent living. The negative reviews also mention issues with memory care, inconsistent medication management, and a lack of support for residents with specific needs. Overall, while some families are satisfied, others express deep disappointment and frustration, advising potential residents to consider other options.

Our parents moved into Village Park seven years ago. Initially, it was well managed, but in the last several years, the senior management quality has seriously deteriorated. There have been consistent errors in billing and very slow response to correcting them. The food quality has also decreased. And the cost has skyrocketed! This is a beautiful facility and many of the staff are friendly, but I would hope that the owners of Village Park recognize there needs to be a significant change in the senior management of this facility. In the meantime, I would caution children of our elderly parents to be diligent and thorough in vetting this facility and talk to residents who currently live there about their experiences and recommendations.
