I felt many caregivers were not properly trained to transfer residents. There is a rule that only one person transfer is acceptable. Although I never needed more than one person I felt extreme pressure to move from the facility. I had caregivers try to transfer me by pulling on one leg, one arm etc., improper use of gate belt. I must say there are many food choices! Activities are interesting and varied. Housekeeping was good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall, I had a solid visit at Cherrywood Village. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facility was clean and well-decorated - overall it has a light and airy feel. However, I did have to watch my step when leaving, as someone had gotten sick in the hallway, but that's not necessarily their fault.
