We chose Sage Valley Senior Living for the quality of care it promised. Unfortunately, our experience has raised serious concerns about our mother's safety and well-being. Despite paying for a higher level of care, she has fallen six times in her room due to delayed staff assistance for nighttime toileting. We recently discussed this with staff, as it's clear my mother, despite her strength, needs more attentive care. We also enlisted a private aide due to neglect, and have faced ongoing issues with room cleanliness and laundry services, for which we pay extra. Adding to our concern, executive and leadership turnover has been frequent, with several changes in just six months. This inconsistency affects the standard of care. I need to update my comments from January. The employees in the AI generated response are no longer at Sage Valley Senior Living. The original Executive Director from Sage left and a person was sent to fill in until a new person was hired. After this, interaction with the Generations/Memory Care residents really went down hill. It seemed we always had to check and see if his hearing aids were in correct. He had a portable oxygen machine and the batteries weren't always charged. We were told upon signing that these things wouldn't be an issue and part of his care plan. We would go daily to visit to make sure he had some interaction. No one seems to be able to answer questions. Please look past pretty and the talk during the tour. Go and visit many times unannounced before signing on the dotted line.

my dad is in the memory care facility and this is the third place he has been. It is by far the best care and food he has gotten. Don't be scared off by a large facility. The memory care director and staff really cares about the residents.
