Lake Forest Place is a lovely to place to live if you are in the independent section. However, the Balmoral Skilled Nursing Facility is terrible. There is a culture of blame and denial. The staff is poorly trained and there is a high turnover rate. There are some good and kind people who work there, but not many. Do not put your loved one there if they need skilled care. On top of it is is one of the most expensive facilities in the area.
