Over the last 29 years, The Commons has provided high quality, patient centered care to thousands of local seniors. Of course, we've expanded our programs over the years, continually adding services to better suit the ever growing needs of our aging neighbors. Today, we offer a wide variety of health options. We feel it is very important to honor the process of aging in place; to respect and support a person’s decisions around their independence. To do this, we offer a flexible program of supportive services, always designed to enhance your independent lifestyle.
Many of our residents are very independent - they continue to volunteer in the community, exercise at the nearby YMCA, and take classes at the Senior College at The University of Maine Hutchinson Center. Other residents require a bit more care, which they can receive in any one of our beautiful apartments.
