As we aged we moved to Meadow Lakes from Ohio to be closer to our daughters. While the grounds are beautiful, it is the people who make it special. There is an open friendliness here. Each time we pass others in the halls or across bridges connecting buildings, we exchange greetings. The staff is also welcoming, and they never fail to meet our needs in a timely manner. It is easy getting to know new people through the myriad of activities Meadow Lakes offers. When we arrived we were invited several times for dinner, and we were urged to join any of the activities that appealed to us. We have listened to lectures on the evolution of science, another about infinity, and still others which involved discussions about books and film. We make it a point to stay physically fit, so we are grateful that we can use the exercise room at all hours. The indoor and outdoor pools contribute to keeping us active as well as the new pickle ball court nearby.

My mother has lived at Meadow Lakes in Hightstown New Jersey for 3 1/2 years. (2020). She is thriving at 90 and very social in the independent living. She attends the events that are planned, plays Bocce, croquet, swims, joins the adult exercises and has dinner companions every night. The facility is beautiful inside and the outdoor grounds are lovely, Our family highly recommends Meadow Lakes for your loved one. And another great feature, as a residence needs change all the different levels are right there on site and the resident is able to have their final chapter living in the same beautiful facility til the Lord, calls them home. One last perk, the entire site is ground level so you never have to worry in an emergency that the resident is able to get out quickly and safely with the help of the staff…. we considered this feature a very big plus.
