Since 1951, Episcopal Retirement Services (ERS) has worked to improve the lives of older adults through innovative, quality senior living communities and through community services to older adults.
ERS began as the Memorial Homes Foundation serving 20 older women in a home in Clifton, near the University of Cincinnati. Today, ERS serves older adults through senior living communities, as well as in-home and community-based services. We offer a variety of senior living options to accommodate all levels of care including:
Independent Living Assisted Living Assisted Living with Memory Support Long-term Nursing Care Short-term Rehabilitation
Our premier communities, including the flagship Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Community and Deupree House, are located in Hyde Park on Cincinnati’s east side. ERS also offers affordable housing options for seniors with low incomes: The Elberon, Forest Square, Woodburn Pointe, Shawnee Place, Canterbury Court, Cambridge Heights, and St. Paul Village. We also manage St. Pius Place, a community for income-qualified seniors located in South Cumminsville.
In addition to retirement communities, ERS provides services for seniors living in their own homes through Living Well Senior Solutions and Deupree Meals on Wheels. Parish Health Ministry coordinates a large network of churches to provide grassroots health-related services throughout Southern Ohio.
As part of our mission, ERS committed $1.7 million in 2014 to resident philanthropic services. In large part, these funds support the needs of residents who have outlived their financial resources.
