Edgemere Dallas is the complete one-stop shop for seniors who are looking for convenience, care and comfort. Edgemere offers four levels of care, including: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation. They offer over 200 different activities and outings a month for their residents to enjoy. Their Executive Chef has his own signature hamburger and that Edgemere even hosts its own yearly walk for the Alzheimer’s Association, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. They offer two restaurants, a gift shop, full-service banking, a nine-hole putting green, indoor heated swimming pool, business center, library, woodworking shop, greenbelt walking trail, greenhouse, and more. Residents choose from 13 different floor plans that range from one bedroom to three bedrooms. Edgemere is also a certified Music and Memory community, recognizing that music can be a very powerful therapy and tool for reminiscence. They also use a program called “Masterpiece Living” that focuses on a methodology for successful living. This program increases “social interaction, self-awareness, a greater sense of purpose and higher states of physical and mental conditioning.” For residents that are in need of a little more assistance, the Edgemere contends that you can still live in luxury and comfort. Care services are available to residents who need services and individualized care plans are updated regularly according to their needs. Memory Care residents have their own calendar of activities and events as well as caregivers that focus specifically on the needs of those with dementia.
