Founded in 1997, Aegis Living has over 28 years of experience enhancing care and exceeding the expectations of families and residents. Family Link technology allows you to see program participation, examine your loved one's personalized wellness profile, and how their participation falls into the seven dimensions of health and wellness. It keeps families informed and connected. The app sends important notifications from the community as well as photos, activity schedules, and your loved ones socialization for the day. These tools help to ensure your loved one is healthy, happy, and adapting to their new home.

Aegis Living of Corte Madera is located easily off 101 in Corte Madera. Its right by the Town Center. The property is nicely built with large apartments and many common area spaces. Aegis is a nationwide operator that is known for its high quality of care and real estate. Over the years I’ve had many clients move in there and they’ve all been happy. The community is very expensive. In addition to a large community fee the monthly rent is quite high. The community has restaurant style dining that has mixed reviews and has been up and down. There are certainly specialized diet options available everyday. They also have a busy activity and engagement program, including trips outside the community to different attractions. Aegis is a great fit for someone that is looking for a high end community that offers multiple levels of care. Unlike many other communities in the area they offer nursing on-site. This is great to support higher acuity medical needs. The property is large with probably over 100 residents. This is great so you can meet people with similar interests and make friends. The community vibe is lively and positive. It is no longer the newest community in Southern Marin, but it’s still a property worth adding to your short list for tours.

I recently had the opportunity to experience Aegis Living Issaquah first-hand when my mother-in-law was placed there for a month of respite care. I was very impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff that took the time to get to know the residents. The executives were also incredibly helpful and understanding as we navigated our loved one's dementia diagnosis. Although we ultimately moved her closer to us due to cost and distance, I would not hesitate to have her back at Aegis again.
