Concordis Senior Living is a privately held senior housing organization specializing in the development, operation, and management of assisted living communities. Headquartered in the Southeastern United States, Concordis continues to expand through new community development, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions. Led by CEO Peder Johnsen, Concordis focuses on creating outstanding senior care environments that enable residents to enjoy life while maintaining independence.

With a history rooted in senior care innovation, Concordis is a leader in providing comprehensive services tailored to the needs of each resident. Every individual receives a customized care plan prior to moving in, ensuring personalized attention. Several Concordis communities are licensed for extended congregate care, offering specialized services beyond those typically available in standard assisted living settings. Concordis also develops innovative financial solutions that maximize resources, providing seniors with greater choices, value, and comfort.

Peder Johnsen brings 25 years of experience to his role as CEO, continuing a three-generation family legacy in senior living. The Johnsen family developed their first assisted living community in central Florida in 1980, building a reputation for successfully developing, stabilizing, and operating senior living facilities. After assuming leadership in 1995, Peder expanded the family business, renovating and repositioning underperforming properties and developing new communities from the ground up. In 2008, he partnered with Trent Watkins to establish Concordis Senior Living.

Today, Concordis operates an expanding portfolio of 8 communities designed to deliver the most complete assisted living experience possible. In addition to managing its own properties, Concordis provides expert management services to other senior living projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Guided by a mission to enhance seniors’ lives, Concordis remains at the forefront of the senior living industry, offering innovative solutions and high-quality care environments that promote independence and well-being.
