Whitney Oaks Care Center

My mother-in-law stayed here for a little over a week. She said she was left in the room with no one coming to bathe her for days which was super shocking to us. She said she rang the bell for the nurses who ignored her mostly. They barely came by to check on her or see what she wanted. When I called they were very nice so this was surprising. Unfortunately, we had to get her out of there because she was so unhappy with how she said they treated her. One thing about my mother-in-law is she is a SUPER easygoing chill person and not one who complains about things so if SHE is saying they were a problem, they had to be pretty horrible.

Whitney Oaks in Carmichael, Ca is the worst facility you can trust to take care of your loved ones. My Grandmother was in this facility for a month and experienced the worst by the nurses/staff members. My Grandmother described being left for hours in her room with a roommate that would scream all day/night and also being denied access to basic necessities. Who knows what else happens here behind our backs! No one believed my Grandmother until we were forced to bring her home only to find out there was evidence of a fungus and raw skin from not being properly treated. My family was only about to visit once a week because of the distance. (weekends) Same dirty sheets from the week prior! Surprise! That would explain why she has a fungus and thank you Whitney Oaks because now she's antibiotics! If you're looking for a facility for your "loved one" DO NOT SEND THEM TO WHITNEY OAKS!
