Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is home to approximately 130 residents and a nearly equal number of professionals dedicated to providing person-centered, skilled long-term care and short term rehabilitation in a therapeutic community. Residents of Juniper Village at the Spearly Center are primarily people living with chronic mental illness, brain injury or neurological disorders. The Spearly Center provides a holistic approach to care by involving the individual and his/her care team to create a plan of care that addresses the individual’s physical, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, social occupational, relationship and leisure pursuits with a goal toward well-being in each realm of life. Located near the heart of downtown Denver, the community is an urban oasis with beautiful, recently renovated outdoor spaces. Juniper Village at the Spearly Center offers four distinct “neighborhoods” within one building to creatively, appropriately and individually meet the various needs of each person who lives there. The Spearly Center offers an art studio, multiple common areas for gathering, a Gateway Club, and several different dining venues all tailored to the specific needs and desires of our residents.
For many residents of the Spearly Center, this is the first place they have been able to call “home” in many years. You will sense this spirit of home the minute you enter the community!
