Please don’t send your loved ones here! My father was a resident in Byron Hall because of his dementia. You're just a number there! Profit over care! It’s horrible. If my father was able to express his feelings he would have been so mad! But due to his dementia and being medicated he was subdued. He was only there for 2 short months. We had no choice in the facility that we could send him to due to his form of dementia. I had no choice, there was no where else to send him. This is the fate of seniors with dementia who have no voice and the system is horrible for them! Poor hygiene practices and lack of care! I feel ashamed that this happened to my father and there was nothing I could do about it as his care was then out of my hands! These people are so disorganized that they couldn’t even keep a care plan meeting appointment that they made with me and the main players never showed up and I was never notified! Stay away!
