The reviews for The Springs at Lake Oswego present a mixed picture of the facility. On the positive side, many reviewers commend the facility for its high-end amenities, well-maintained apartments, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The dining options are highlighted as a strong point, with multiple restaurant-style areas available, and the option for residents to prepare their own meals. The facility is described as a nice place for loved ones, with a good location and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are significant concerns raised by some reviewers. One major issue is the facility's handling of residents requiring higher levels of care. A reviewer shared a distressing experience where their father, a resident, was not accepted back into assisted or memory care after a stroke, despite promises of end-of-life care. This situation caused significant stress and upheaval for the family. Another reviewer reported appalling conditions in a resident's room, including unsanitary bathroom conditions and a lack of necessary personal care items, suggesting understaffing and neglect. The facility's response to the COVID-19 pandemic is generally praised, with staff handling the situation well and ensuring vaccinations despite shortages. However, the overall experience seems to vary significantly, with some families feeling let down by the level of care provided, especially in critical situations. Potential residents and their families are advised to thoroughly understand what the facility can and cannot accommodate to avoid similar challenges.

Beware, my husband and I were promised lots of care in assisted living and were willing to pay the “high price". We put down the deposit, were given a move in date, then hired a mover. We were all packed. We were then informed they were “understaffed and could not meet my needs" in assisted living. We had been successfully living in another assisted living facility, for 5 years. They are cruel, calculating and their staff are salespeople, meant to rope you in and then worry about “their bottom line." We are glad we pulled out in time. We can only wonder what kind of care we might have gotten. CEO showed no empathy that he had enticed us so far and then dumped on us. We had hired movers, given notice at our current residence, then they wondered why we were so upset! Beware, Beware!!
