My mom moved from Memory Care (MI) to one of Julia's homes (Lynn Ct). I am only sorry we did not recognize sooner that mom needed to move where she would have more attention than was possible in MC to keep her safer. She was at Lynn Ct. her final 6 months and we appreciate everything they did to help mom do her best. Even though her last fall in MC left her unable to walk, they worked with her & even helped her walk a short distance. Staff was amazing. She didn't make their job easy & they were totally up to the task. Julia & Stuart constantly thought through what would be the best approaches to use with mom to keep her happy & comfortable. The mix of residents went from pretty darn mobile to not at all and they all got their own share of attention. The smell of food being prepared left me craving an invite; that never once happened at MC where everything was bland & boring. They did a job I couldn't do, treated mom with dignity & helped our family get through it all.
