With 40 communities, Northstar Senior Living has locations in nine states that offer assisted living, independent living, and memory care. Founded in 2008, Northstar Senior Living has offered dedication, service, and communication in order to achieve excellence in all of its communities. Headed by president and CEO, Rick Jensen, Northstar Senior Living offers quality, communication, honesty, and accountability to each resident, their families, and their staff. Northstar Senior Living's values and principles are guided by “taking care of those for whom we have responsibility; our senior residents, our associates, and our investors.”

In 2014 Northstar Senior Living made a name for itself when they added Stonewall Gardens Assisted Living in Palms Springs, California to their portfolio. This sought-after LGBTQ+ community was created to “not be your grandmother’s nursing home,” but a new kind of assisted living that accepts the LGBTQ+ community and their friends.” Northstar Senior Living has been determined to make sure this community is for all walks of life and caters to all kinds of interests.
