Their Independent living is more like a nursing home. You must ask the 1st time for every little detail for your meal or you won't get it. If you ask for ice tea and forgot to ask for a straw, no one comes back. Serving sizes are small like nursing home servings, If you are a normal eater, then you must ask for a double order. We have not seen any ambulatory people in the dining room or activities. There are no "mobile" activities. It is generally walker/wheel chair residents that no longer drive. It is a misrepresentation for independent living, In addition, applicants must sign in the contract that you give Vantage the permission to video tape or take pictures of you at anytime and they can enter your apt at anytime also, If you refuse to, your contract is declined as it is mandatory. (No other places required this during my research. It is an invasion of privacy). Add to this that you must notify the front desk from a 'buzzer" type button by 8 am to tell them you are ok.
